Dr. Skinner graduated with honors from Abilene Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He attended Southwestern Medical School in Dallas where he earned his medical degree. He then attended Texas Tech University where he completed his residency in Family Medicine in 2000. His first practice was a general family medicine practice where he provided care to all ages, birth through geriatrics. He moved to the DFW metroplex in 2008 and began working in an urgent care setting. After 4 years of urgent care, he moved to a more integrated practice setting, working with physical medicine providers.
Dr. Skinner is truly a physician who focuses as much on his patients’ future as their present, a physician who actually does prevention.
